Project Engineer

Details

  • Implement document control systems and track MSDS sheets
  • Manage subcontractor communication, shop drawings, and material delivery
  • Attend and document project meetings, owner-architect discussions, and coordination sessions
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and ensure compliance
  • Maintain safety, ethics, and compliance adherence
  • Facilitate information flow among project team members
  • Prepare project status and financial reports for executive review
  • Manage subcontract change orders and procurement schedules
  • Make decisions under tight deadlines with incomplete information
  • Assist in scheduling, change order analysis, and meeting coordination

Required Qualifications and Skills

  •  B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  •  Entry level position with 2 years of experience or 2-4 years of construction-related trade experience
  •  Committed to quality and customer satisfaction
  •  Demonstrates integrity, aligning with company values
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships with various stakeholders
  •  Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools like email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
